For the first time in this country an LP has been released which features a collection of recent hits, all done by the original artist. The record, 20 Dynamic Hits, is on the K-Tel label. Performers include Hurricane Smith, Argent, Cilla Black, Colin Blunstone and Sly and The Family Stone. It costs £1.99, whereas the total singles value of the songs on it is £4.50.

Quite amazing value, this...with a vast list of top names producing original hits. All chart records by such as The Fortunes, Santana, Sly And The Family Stone, Hurricane Smith, Redbone, Christie, Deep Purple and The Move. Positively no covers and ideal for parties. As advertised on telly, folks.

The "Good Value" awards for June looks bound to finish with "20 Dynamic Hits", which has at least 21 sound reasons for being purchased. Among the score are Deep Purple, Santana, Sly and The Family Stone, Cilla Black, Blue Mink and Fame and Price; these and other stars all singing original hits.
They are not relentlessly "dynamic," yet they all have a distinctive something. Put together like this they could easily have made the asking price well over £2. Instead, one of the best, most tightly packaged albums of 1972 is yours for £1.99, the first release by K-Tel Records in the UK (TE 292).
