Joe 90 is a British science fiction television series created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson and filmed by their production company, Century 21, for Lew Grade's ITC Entertainment.
The series debuted on September 29, 1968 in the Midlands and Tyne Tees ITV regions and was first shown on LWT on October 5, 1968. The first repeat run in the London ITV region was in 1972.

TV Times: Who would suspect a nine-year-old boy of being an international secret agent? It's true, Joe 90, star of this puppet series, enters the world of espionage with the help of an ingenious electronic machine known as Big Rat which gives him the knowledge, skill and experience of any living person.
In the first story, the Deputy Head of the World Intelligence network tries to persuade Joe to steal a top secret 'plane.
